Catering
You can use any caterer you like, or no caterer. You can use the CYC kitchen on our lower floor - if you do use the kitchen and/or CYC kitchen tools, at the end of the event the kitchen must be cleaned. As there is no in-sink garbage disposal, any CYC kitchen items must be hand washed and run through the sanitizer. You will need to plan extra time to empty the sanitizer after the cycle is complete. There is an extra charge to use the kitchen.

Accessibility
The main event space and bar on the upper floor is wheelchair accessible via a ramp from shore. There are wheelchair-accessible marina bathrooms 200 feet from the clubhouse near the V Dock sign, and renters are given a fob that grants access to those restrooms.
Clubhouse restrooms, located on the lower floor, down a flight of stairs, are not wheelchair accessible. There is a back door on the lower floor, with a ramp to the shore however there are three steps up from the dock to that back door.

Event Insurance
You will need event insurance - there are two ways you can get it:
A. If you have homeowner’s insurance, you can call your insurance company and get an event insurance policy that matches our requirements. (Your insurance may vary.)
Follow the requirements in CYC’s rental agreement and easily purchase the policy online. Based on common CYC rentals, we estimate that insurance will cost you around$90-150 depending on the number of attendees

Beverage Service
Beverage service is anoptionalcharge of $2 per person (our bartender will track the number of people).
Drinks from our soda gun - tonic, club soda, Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, and GingerAle
Any other beverage items, and all alcohol, must be provided by the renter. If you do not choose beverage service, you will need to provide your own cups, ice, and mixer
Dinghy Dock Storage
CYC now owns the Dinghy Floats located at the north end of Shilshole Bay Marina. We thank the Seattle I-14 Fleet for their generosity in donating the floats to CYC. Both organizations share a long-term vision for supporting dinghy and junior sailing at Shilshole. We are excited to add this to our ongoing support of the successful CYC Juniors Program as well as the small boat sailing community.
If you are interested in storage space for a dinghy, please email docks@cycseattle.org. Please note docks@cycseattle.org is your sole point of contact for all things dinghy. Voice mail about the Dinghy Floats on the CYC office phone will not be returned and email will be forwarded to docks@cycseattle.org. Thank you in advance!
