On the last weekend of February we have our first sailing cruise of the year to beautiful Blake Island Marine State Park. Enjoy the great beaches and trails for day hikes. In the evening, share a potluck dinner & campfire in our reserved shelter. (Please bring wood!) Blake Island Marina has power at the dock, so we can plug in for heat on the boats!

Blake Island is easy to get to from Shilshole - just a couple of hours motoring on Saturday and back on Sunday. Of course a sail would be wonderful! The marina has nice wide docks and moorage is available on a first come first served basis. We will avoid rafting. There are nice grounds and views right by the marina, as well as trails that circle the island. The walk out to the West beach is level and makes a nice stroll.
